Pastel Beauties.

I always love the S/S collections. Almost all the designers reference the good old faithful pastel in at least one look and its been having a comeback for the last few seasons. I'm pretty excited. I'm now on the hunt for a sheer pastel panelled shirt. A visit to House of Holland might be on the cards (or maybe just the fill a bag for a tenner sale at the East End thrift store, some gems are to be had there, I promise you http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=135152953249479)

I went to the Belle Sauvage show yesterday. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I'm in love with their kaleidoscopic prints and there was a nice helping of pastel this season which added a very pretty element to what was an incredibly powerful, slick and sexy show.
I took some snaps with my new camera. I'm not the best photographer as yet, so please forgive the odd few.

I had to use the ticket as an umbrella when the heavens opened in the queue. Not my best moment to say the least.

I didn't manage to get a great picture of my favourite dress so I'll hunt one down and re-post it. However, to paint you a picture until then, it had hip high splits, mint green chiffon swathes, over a lilac kaleidoscope bodice with a cut out back. Completely gorgeous and worn by an amazonian beauty.

I did get snapped myself yesterday by quite a few Japanese photographers and bloggers. They were most intrigued by my socks and "flower-pot shoe" combo.
The socks are pretty amazing though. I think my mum bought them from a museum gift shop. Random.

I'm going to Paris on Tuesday for Première Vision: http://www.premierevision.com/
So I will leave you with this snap.

To fall in love in Paris... Sigh.
